These terms govern your use of Surflow. By installing or using Surflow, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the extension.
Surflow is a Chrome extension that helps you manage browser tabs with workspaces, a tree view, and tags. Core functionality works locally on your device. An optional account (Google sign-in) lets you back up and restore your data through the cloud.
You may use Surflow without an account. If you create one by signing in with Google, you're responsible for the security of your Google account and for activity under your Surflow account. Provide accurate information and don't impersonate others.
You agree not to:
Surflow's core features are free, and local use is free forever. Some features — such as expanded cloud backup — may be offered under a paid plan with published limits and pricing. Free-plan cloud backup is subject to reasonable limits, which we may adjust (currently: up to 5 workspaces of your choice and 1 MB of backup data). If you remove a workspace from your backup selection, it leaves the cloud backup after a short grace period (currently 3 days) — it always remains on your device, and you can export it at any time. We'll describe any paid plan and its price before you buy, and payment terms will be shown at purchase.
Your tabs, tags, and workspaces are yours. By using cloud backup you grant us only the limited permission needed to store and return that data to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We don't claim ownership of it and don't use it for any other purpose.
We work to keep Surflow available and reliable, but we provide it "as is" and may change, suspend, or discontinue features (including cloud backup) at any time. We are not liable for data loss; please keep your own exports of anything important — Surflow includes an export feature for this reason.
Surflow is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Surflow and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of Surflow. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using Surflow and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms. On account deletion, we remove the data we store for your account as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms as Surflow evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date; continued use after changes means you accept them.
